NCC Program Presentation by Jerry Ward on November 11, 2011

The Nevada Camera Club November 2011 Program Meeting features a presentation by Canon USA Professional Market Specialist, Jerry Ward. In this presentation, Jerry focuses on getting the most out of Canon cameras. As a professional photographer, Jerry will be discussing how being comfortable with the camera, flash and software used, no matter what brand camera or model, photographers will be able to create the images that they want. Although this presentation is illustrated using Canon equipment, it is applicable to all photographers, not just Canon camera users.

Jerry Ward has been a professional photographer for thirty-three years and has worked for Canon USA for eight years. He worked as a staff photographer at Tulane University for almost fifteen years while freelancing for his personal clients including Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, Marriott, Hilton, Getty, USA Today and numerous major newspapers. A photographic generalist, Jerry's skills are mostly in sports, commercial, advertising and photojournalism although he does find time to photograph some weddings and portraits each year to keep up with the ever changing industry. Over the past decade or so, much of Jerry's freelance work has been directed toward food photography. Jerry is also a qualified photography and digital imaging expert witness in the US Federal Court System. More information about Jerry Ward and a selection of his photographs are located on the Jerry Ward Photography web site.
